Writing is a creative process that requires you to go through different stages of planning and execution. There’s the brainstorming phase, the outlining, creating different drafts, editing, etc. And, whether you’re a skilled writer or just getting started with your WordPress blog, you could use a hand with making this process easier and more successful.

Luckily, there are WordPress plugins that can help you write better and make your writing session run smoothly. We’re going to help you find the right plugin for your writing needs. Below, you’ll find a list of 9 best WordPress plugins for writers to improve their writing.

Let’s take a closer look.

SEO Plugins

If you plan on making your blog a success, you have to pay attention to SEO. Without it, your blog posts won’t be ranking high and won’t be reaching the right target audience.

Here are the plugins to help you out with that.

Yoast SEO

Here’s what to expect from it:- advanced XML sitemaps- improved meta tags- title and meta description templates- site breadcrumbs control- readability analysis

Yoast SEO is definitely a great choice for improving your WordPress content for search engines, but humans as well. You can also check out RankMath Pro if you’re looking for a more professional (and pricier) SEO plugin.

If you insert the right links into your WordPress content, you’re making it easier for Google search engines to recognize it as related to certain searches and thus show it to the right target audience.

I would like to suggest one more SEO-friendly WordPress plugin, and it is Trash Duplicate and 301 Redirect. This plugin helps you to find and delete a duplicate post, pages, custom post, etc. It also takes care of your old post links and will give you functionality as you can redirect that old posts to the new link via 301 redirect functionality.
