General Project Costs

Our projects vary in pricing, as we serve uniquely different customers. For example, a standard corporate website would cost a lot less than a major media publication.

We generally categorize projects into several budget ranges:

  • $4,000-$10,000
  • $10,000-$20,000
  • $20,000-$50,000

How much will my project cost?

To expand on the previous section, we are happy to offer you a rough estimation based on your project requirements. 

For a simple project, sending us a basic rundown of all of the features that you would like will give us more than enough information to return a number to you. 

For a more complex project, or if you’re trying to understand the scope of your work, we would be happy to send you a questionnaire that we use when pricing out projects. 

Questions on this document include a list of pages that you would like on your website, three existing websites that you like design wise, if you’ll need a brand identity, unique functionality is specific to your project, and more.

Typical Pricing Structures and Terms

We offer our clients a transparent flat fee based on the scope of the project. Payment terms are simple, 50% upfront, which is used to fund the labor and general expenses of the project (such as plugins), and 50% on project completion. 

The scope of many projects grows during development, as clients identify additional features that they would like to add on. This is typically due to our unique relationship based approach, where we offer advice and ideas on how to leverage your website to convert (growing revenue, leads generated, and visitors-on-page). 

These would be scoped out and billed upfront, keeping costs transparent and manageable to our clients.

How Much Are Ongoing Costs Following The Project?

Because we create projects that are designed to be managed by the client that owns them, we will not bill you in perpetuity following project launch.

Therefore, the only monthly costs that you will experience are hosting and plugin licensing fees. Depending on the size of your website and number of visitors, hosting ranges from $10-$200 per month. Plugin licensing fees are typically billed annually, and depend on the product.



What’s a general project timeline?

Timelines vary wildly depending on the scope of the project. Basic projects are typically completed within six weeks. More complex projects can take anywhere from six weeks to several months. Please reach out via our contact page, and we would be happy to offer you a custom quotation as well as timeline estimate.

When we present our complete project proposal to you, this includes a detailed timeline that we do our best to adhere to.

Website launch — how does that work?

When your website is ready to go live, we will connect your domain to the production server, ensuring all systems are functional. Then, for the following month we will monitor your website for any unforeseen issues and fix them if they arise. This is included in the initial project fee, so you can be sure that your website will be perfect.


Support & Maintenance 

Education and onboarding

A core value of our web design Agency is customer usability and accessibility. all of our website creations are different, and completely tailored to the clients requirements. Because of that, we offer a detailed on boarding process following the site launch. 

This includes written documentation and video tutorials on how to use every aspect of your new word press website created in oxygen Builder. It covers basic things such as logging into the backend and posting blog posts, as well as how to use the custom functionality that we have built for you.

By the end of this on boarding process, you’ll be able to use every aspect of your website, fulfilling basic tasks without the need to contract with our agency. Our end goal is to make you completely independent when it comes to using your website, instead of trapping you in to a maintenance plan.

And, because everything is categorized into chapters, if you’re looking for guidance on how to do a unique thing, you can easily find it, watch a short video, and be able to do it yourself in no time.

Maintenance and ongoing support

Once the website is launched, functioning perfectly, and our on boarding process is complete, customers have a couple different options when it comes to maintenance and ongoing support.

We have noticed that many clients have had terrible experiences with existing web design companies, and that they design a website to be as difficult to use and update as possible, in trapping them into a long-term, costly maintenance contract. This is not our goal, and we feel that this value is a selling point to potential clients. 

Isotropic WordPress websites are easy for the client to maintain, grow, and add to. However, many want the security of ongoing support from a digital agency. For that, clients can purchase pre-paid hours that they are free to use as needed over a 12 month period.

Blocks can be purchased in groups of five hours, with the total number of prepaid hours being 40. They are good for 12 months from the purchase, and can be used for maintenance, consultation, website expansion, or anything else you need related to WordPress.

Many of our clients do just that — they’ll have anywhere from 5-40 prepaid hours, which are used to update WordPress, plugins, add new pages, and create additional aspects of their site.

And, because we’re super focused on our relationship with you, we’ll typically answer simple questions and even complete sub-5 minute tasks (like a plugin update) for free.

We work with any type of customer, from a local mom and pop shop, to major digital publications, to e-commerce shops, to large regional and national companies.

With that being said, most of our work is done creating e-commerce Websites with WooCommerce, and building media publications.

We have extensive experience in conversion optimization on WooCommerce, and monetizing content websites through ads and affiliate marketing (we manage our own blog of roughly 60-80k visits per month).
